Pastor Dale Wolf
I'm so glad you have taken the time to click on this link and learn more about me. The first thing you should know is I am a follower of Jesus who has learned and experienced the magnitude and power of God's grace. I struggle with issues of life and faith just like you do. Yet I have learned there is healing to be found in a spiritual encounter with Jesus and strength to pick myself up after I fall. I've also learned not only does God redeem our struggles, but He uses them for His purposes, if we are open and willing.
I am married to the love of my life, Beth. She is not only my life partner, but my partner in ministry at the Lighthouse. Her many gifts are evident throughout our ministry.
We have two children and we are incredibly proud of them. Andrew lives in St. Paul, MN and Sarah in Fargo, along with her husband James and their son Jackson. Both Andrew and Sarah are teachers, music and 3rd grade respectively.
My theological training is Lutheran and I've had the privilege of serving in three other churches in North Dakota. God is bringing me through my own personal struggles with burnout, addiction to alcohol and depression. I say "bringing me through" as it is a process and a journey. This journey led me to envision a church like the Lighthouse where people can join others who understand that life is often filled with pain and struggles. At the Lighthouse we acknowledge our brokenness, our need for God's grace and the hope given us in Christ Jesus.
My passion in life is to share this hope with others and to teach God's "tool-book," the Bible, as a testament to God's promises and a guide for daily life. I love to interact with people and learn about their stories. I find meaning in respecting people's spiritual and life stories and walking along side of them as they learn about God's love for them in Christ Jesus. In that vain, we work hard at the Lighthouse on transparency and on being a welcoming community to all. We all stumble and fall. Together, and by God's grace we can get up and move forward.
I love to read, drink coffee, exercise and eat pizza; not necessarily in that order. I love sports of all kinds and am a huge Michigan Wolverine fan. Go Blue!!!!
Assistant Pastor, Aaron Fowler
Pastoral Assistant, Lisa Ronning
Hi! I am the Pastoral Assistant at Lighthouse Church. I grew up in Abercrombie, ND and graduated from Richland High School. I got a degree in general office at NDSCS in Wahpeton. I married my high school sweetheart, Kirk Ronning. We have three kids, Laura, Krysta and Noah. My family is the most important thing to me. When Laura was born I decided to stay home and do daycare. I did daycare for 27 1⁄2 years. I helped Pastor Dale and Beth and some of our friends start Lighthouse Church. I have always been a believer, but had never really felt God speak to me until I felt, in my heart, that God really wanted me to be a part of this. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made. In October of 2016, I started working for Lighthouse Church. It was a good fit because I was already doing some of the things that were in the job requirements. I have learned so much working here and I love my job. I love Lighthouse Church and I am truly blessed to be serving God and my church.
Multimedia Specialist, Dawnyell Senger
I have been a part of the Lighthouse, with my husband and daughter, since before the first service in the fall of 2013 but I have been a believer of the Holy Trinity for my entire life. At times I have traveled further away from my faith than I’d like to admit, but thankfully, God continues to draw me back. I am always trying to better understand how to apply God’s word to my life so I consider myself to forever be a work in progress. Speaking of works in progress, I have the opportunity to work part-time as the multimedia specialist for the Lighthouse where there is always something new happening.
